Free Laptop with Mobile Phone

Free Dual Core Laptops are the latest must have gift being offered with a mobile phone, and we have lots of them to choose from! The laptops (NetBooks and MacBooks) offered vary in specification, however, most would be considered entry level. That said, any dual core laptop will meet 95% of customers needs, and are perfect for computing on the move. If you are one of the new breed of “digital nomads” who frequently work on the move, you may also like to consider a mobile broadband connection (see link above) which will allow you to access the internet anywhere, even on fast moving trains!

To order your free mobile phone with your free laptop simply click on the “order now” buttons to the right of the offer. You will then be taken to a page with full details of this offer (on a different website).

The deals shown above are a small sample of the offers available at any given time. The free laptops on offer with mobile contracts vary from day to day. On one day there may be only five or six different models to choose from, whilst on another there may be thirty or forty.

To see what is on offer on a given day you really need to use the search tool in the top right hand sidebar and look under “free gifts”.

We have tried to review the most common laptops and brands on this site, but keeping pace with them all is tricky due to the rate at which deals change.

If you cannot find a laptop that suits you on a given day, the best thing is just to keep an eye on our site and see what else comes into stock. Any new laptop deals (or any other phone deal for that matter) will show on our site within a few hours of them becoming available on the retailers own sites. Our listings are updated several times a day to make sure we list the cheapest current offers.

We do not sell phones directly, rather we compare all the deals other retailers and network providers have to offer.

Any questions you have regarding the contract should be addressed to that company, however, I doubt they will be able to offer advice on the laptop itself. For that you should look at technology sites such as ebuyer.com or dabs.com where you can usually find competitive prices and customer reviews of a range of laptops.

Are These Laptops Really Free?

As Vicky Pollard would say… yeah but no but!

The laptops are free, but there is always a trade off with these deals. Usually you will be trading off one of two things:

  1. The value of the handset you are given
  2. A cash back alternative that may be on offer

The first of those is pretty clear. Imagine you are taking out a contract on which you could get a free iPhone or other high end handset. You can effectively trade that handset down for an older model and get a free gift such as a laptop as an alternative. So instead of an iPhone you would get a cheaper phone plus a laptop.

Assuming you are prepared to trade down your handset, then the next comparison to make is the amount of cashback on offer with the same contract. So, search for the same deal the laptop is offered with in terms of:

  • munites
  • texts
  • data
  • network
  • handset

and see how much instant cash back you could get on the same deal.

Let us say you do this and find that you can get £350 cash back with the same deal as you have seen the laptop offered with. The next step woudl be to check the cash value of the laptop on sites like Amazon, eBuyer or Dabs. If you find you can get the same laptop for £300 on one of those other sites, then clearly you would be better off taking cash back and using the money to go out and buy your laptop from one of those retailers, saving yourself £50 in the process.

If the price of the laptop on those other sites is the same or more expensive than the amount of cash back you can get then you are of course better off going with the free laptop directly on your mobile phone contract.

This may sound a little complex, but it isnt really. Just keep in mind that you will be trading ‘something’ off on your mobile contract in order to get a free laptop. You simply need to ascertain the value of that ‘something’ and compare it to the value of the laptop you are interested in.

Hope that helps!
