Overview of Toshiba:
Toshiba is based out of Japan and makes many different types of consumer goods. In 1875, Tanaka Seizo-Sho, also known as Tanaka Engineering Works, became the first Japanese manufacturer of telegraphic equipment. Hisashige Tanaka was the company’s founder, and from youth, he had been creating items such as mechanical dolls and perpetual clocks.
