This year has been terrible for this kind of deal with very few on offer. At times we have not been able to list any at all, though there are some that come pretty close (working out at one or two pounds per month). The last couple of weeks have been particularly slow, and today has been the best day for weeks with a grand total of 6 for free line rental deals on offer.
This is a far cry from 2008 when we may have over 30 on a given day. I guess in the current economic climate mobile phone retailers cannot afford the risks to their profits that they could in 2008, and a badly planned promotion could put them in a very difficult position.

Alternatively look at the instant cash back deals, as these seem to be regularly listed, and frankly are a lot less hassle!
